Group Exhibition Submission

about the show:

ENSEMBLE is a showcase of artwork created by a selection of students who have studied at Michaela Yoro Studio or participated in past workshops. Each work has been chosen as a reflection of the artist’s unique vision, creativity, and individual style. Together, these paintings celebrate the beauty of bringing different artistic voices into one space. Like an ensemble, where each individual contributes something distinct to create a greater whole, this exhibition demonstrates how artists can inspire one another while offering viewers new ways of seeing and experiencing the world.

This is the first group show exhibiting at MY STUDIO and I invite any students to participate in this exciting event and attend the opening reception with their friends and family.

October 20 - Submission Deadline

October 25 - Notifications sent to artists

November 2-6 - Artwork drop-off

November 9 - Opening reception

November 9-15 - Artwork is displayed

November 16 - Artwork pick up

Join the show!

Please fill out the form and submit up to 3 images of your paintings that you would like to apply with (no artwork larger than 16”x 20”). Michaela will choose 1 painting from each student to include in the show.

*A note about your artwork:

Please make sure that your paintings are ready to hang on the wall. If they are a flat canvas panel, please acquire a frame with attachments on the back to hang. If the artwork is a stretched canvas, you can frame the painting or attach a wire directly to the back of the canvas.

When Michaela has selected the paintings that will be included in the show, you will be asked for a short write-up about your painting, your story or your inspiration with a headshot. These short paragraphs and photo will be included with your painting during the show.
