Welcome to Michaela Yoro Studio LLC (“Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, registering for classes, workshops, or private lessons, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

Michaela Yoro Studio provides art education services, including group classes, workshops, and private instruction for adults. All services are subject to availability and instructor discretion.

2. Registration & Payment

  • Payment is required to secure enrollment unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices, schedules, and offerings are subject to change.

  • Enrollment is not transferable without written approval from the Studio.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Missed Classes

At Michaela Yoro Studio, each class and lesson is thoughtfully curated and prepared in advance. To honor the time, materials, and instruction reserved for each participant, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Multi-week group courses: Enrollment is confirmed upon registration. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel without forfeiting the workshop fee. Once a course has begun, tuition is non-refundable, and missed sessions cannot be credited. Make up classes can be offered on a case-to-case basis. If there is an opening in a same level multi-week group class in the same week, you can request to attend the other workshop for 1 class session to make up the missed class in your enrolled workshop. Availability in another workshop is not guaranteed.

  • Specialty workshops & guest-instructor events: Due to limited enrollment and instructor commitments, these offerings are non-refundable unless otherwise noted at the time of registration.

  • Private lessons: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel without forfeiting the session fee.

  • In the event the Studio must cancel a class or workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or studio credit.

  • Studio credits, when issued, are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months of the original booking.

Cancellations must be submitted via email to hello@michaelayoro.com or the contact page. This policy applies to all bookings to ensure consistency and fairness for our students and instructors.

4. Studio Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect

  • Follow studio safety guidelines

  • Use materials responsibly

The Studio reserves the right to remove participants without refund for disruptive or unsafe behavior.

5. Assumption of Risk

Art instruction may involve materials such as paints, solvents, tools, or equipment. By participating, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with art-making activities.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All instructional materials, demonstrations, website content, and images are the intellectual property of Michaela Yoro Studio unless otherwise stated.

  • Student artwork remains the property of the student.

  • The Studio may photograph or record classes for promotional purposes with consent as outlined in separate waivers or notices.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Michaela Yoro Studio LLC shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in studio activities or use of the website.

8. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or copy content without permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
