BEGINNING DRAWING
What you’ll be learning:
This Beginning Drawing course offers a welcoming introduction to the foundational skills of traditional draftsmanship. Designed for beginners, students will work with essential materials such as graphite and charcoal, while learning the principles of construction, line, and shape. Through clear, step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn how to build a drawing accurately from the ground up, developing a strong understanding of proportion, structure and perspective. In a supportive studio environment, you’ll gain practical tools to observe carefully and draw with growing confidence and clarity.

Duration: 6 weeks, 2 hour classes meeting once a week.
Ages: 18+
Fee: $230
Projects: Two 11”x 14” drawings
Class Maximum: 10 students
