BEGINNING DRAWING
What you’ll be learning:
This Beginning Drawing course offers a welcoming introduction to the foundational skills of traditional draftsmanship. Designed for beginners, students will work with essential materials such as graphite and charcoal, while learning the principles of construction, line, shape, and simplification. Through clear, step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn how to build a drawing accurately from the ground up, developing a strong understanding of proportion, structure and perspective. In a supportive studio environment, you’ll gain practical tools to observe carefully and draw accurately with growing confidence and clarity.

Duration: 6 weeks, 2.5 hour classes meeting once a week. (15 hours total)
Ages: 18+
Fee: $330
Projects: Contour drawing, graphite value drawing, charcoal value drawing.
All materials provided
Class Maximum: 7 students

I'm excited to partner with the City of Tustin to offer a Beginning Drawing at Michaela Yoro Studio! This partnership allows my classes to be featured in the City of Tustin's recreation magazine, helping introduce more people in our community to the joy of oil painting.
